Summary:A driving tool (10) includes a driver (33) configured to drive out a fastener, a piston (32) to which the driver is connected, a cylinder (31) in which the piston is disposed so as to be reciprocated, a head valve (34) which is slidably mounted and controls flow of compressed air into the cylinder, and a foreign matter removing member (37) provided with a protruding portion (37c) facing a circumferential surface of the head valve. When the head valve slides to move relatively with respect to the foreign matter removing member, a matter attached on the circumferential surface of the head valve can be removed by the protruding portion.
