Summary: | The invention relates to a method for producing a semi-finished product (10), in particular a semi-finished fibre product (10), for the production of a fibre-reinforced component (15) of a wind energy plant, in particular a belt (15) of a rotor blade (20) of a wind energy plant. Here, the following steps are carried out: a) a basic layer (11) with rovings is provided, wherein the rovings of the basic layer (11) do not have a 0° orientation in relation to the longitudinal axis of the semi-finished product (10) which is, in particular, to be formed, or a basic layer (11) which is configured as a fibrous nonwoven is provided, b) rovings are applied to the basic layer (11) as a second layer (12) with a 0° orientation in relation to the longitudinal axis of the semi-finished product (10) which is, in particular, to be formed, c) staple fibres with a predetermined fibre length are distributed as a third layer (13) onto the second layer (12) comprising rovings with a 0° orientation, and d) rovings with a 0° orientation in relation to the longitudinal axis of the semi-finished product (10) which is, in particular, to be formed are applied as a fourth layer (14) onto the third layer (13) comprising staple fibres, e) wherein, in a following step, the assembled layers (11, 12, 13, 14) are joined to one another, in particular by sewing, to form a semi-finished product (10).
