In a device for producing plastic pipes with transverse grooves, half-moulds (24, 24') which are provided with a mould recess (39, 39') and complement one another respectively in pairs to form a mould are arranged guided in a circulating manner on a machine table (2). An extruder head (37) is arranged at a distance from the mould. Furthermore, half-moulds (24, 24') with mould recesses (39, 39') of different diameter can be used. To make it possible to compensate for feed-in errors of the thermoplastic parison into the mould, even during operation, and at the same time to make the possible an optimum arrangement of mould recesses of different diameter in the half-moulds, the machine table (2) is adjustable vertically and laterally in each case perpendicularly to the production direction (3) and the apparatuses for the vertical and/or lateral adjustment are arranged on one side of the machine table (2) and adjacent to the extruder head (37).
