(I) produce selective contraction of the carotid artery and are thus useful for treatment of migraine. Effective unit doses are 0.1-100 mg, e.g. given 1-4 times a day. 4 Cpds. (I) are specifically claimed including 3-(2-aminoethyl)-N-methyl-1H-indole 5-methanesulphonamide (Ia).
