Summary:The connector for plastics roof guttering has a joint piece shaped like the gutter, for external resilient grip on the two ends. This joint piece (1) incorporates two or more lugs (2) projecting vertically in the base, separated lengthways, while the gutter ends (3, 4) have apertures (5) for engagement by the lugs when the gutter ends are joined together. The joint piece may also have two grooves (11) running at right angles to the length, for insertion of inlaid sealing strips. Its outer edge can be shaped as an outward bent straight flange, and its inner edge an inward bent seam to grip the inside edge of the gutter.
