Summary:An electrical connector housing comprising a tubular body of resilient insulation material internally formed with an integral detent presenting a forward facing shoulder and with a stop for limiting forward movement of an inserted contact receptacle, at least a portion of the body being of generally rectangular cross-section, is characterized according to the present invention in that, the detent extends across a corner of the portion of rectangular cross-section, and presents a forward facing shoulder of triangular cross-section and a rear surface inclined rearwardly, outwardly and between the adjacent walls of the portion of rectangular cross-section.
