Summary:The apparatus has a gantry frame (1) and two pairs of runners (21, 22; 31, 32) over and parallel to each other. They form trailing sections (21B, 22B; 31B, 32B) at the leading side of the frame, and leading sections (21A, 22A; 31A, 32A) on a plane at right angles to the frame. The leading and trailing sections of the lower pair (2) of runners are firmly fixed, and slide together in relation to the frame. The leading and trailing sections of the upper pair of runners (3) are not bonded, so that the leading sections (31A, 32A) of the upper pair can slide separately. The rear sections of the upper pair are both bonded to the frame.
