Summary:There is provided a passivation layer containing polysiloxane for metallic surfaces and a process for its production, where phosphorus-oxygen structural groups are built into the polysiloxane and the corrosion-inhibiting properties of the passivation layer are thereby improved. In addition, a phosphate intermediate layer acting as coupling agent (bonding agent) can be produced in an advantageous manner between the metallic surface and the polysiloxane.
