Summary: | The wheel bearing seal (1) has an annular part (8) attached to the stationary roller bearing ring (4), supporting a permanent magnet (14). A second annular part (9) is attached to the rotating bearing ring (3) with a pulse generator zone and a flexible sealing zone cooperating with the first annular part. The permanent magnet is aligned with a stationary sensor (11) with the pulse generator located between them provided by a number of evenly spaced windows. The sensor is taken up by a connection head (10) made of plastic material. USE - For detecting wheel rotation rate for vehicle anti-locking braking system. |
