Summary:The device for suspending the current collection wire (14) of a trolley bus or tramway comprises a clamp with an insulated plastic connector (16) and a supporting shoe (17). Both components (16,17) from a single unit with a holder for an adjustable support (20) from which the current wire clamp (25) is suspended. Pref. the supporting shoe (17) and the clamping head on the connector (16) are mfd. in glass reinforced polyamide. USE/ADVANTAGE - On tramways and trolley bus lines for suspending the current collection wire from masks or walls. Longer working life.
