Summary:The cutter, which is an accurate fit on the spigot (11) of the toolholder body is clamped between the shoulder (8) of the body and the slightly hollow machined clamping face (2) of the drawbolt head (1). The drawbolt is tightened by turning the nut (6) at the other end of the toolholder until the cutter is held sufficiently by frictional force. A key (13) in the bored out end (16) of the body engages axial slot (15) of the drawbolt and prevents relative rotation leading to possible damage, especially during cutting. ADVANTAGE - Provides accurate and effective clamping of thin cutters without driving slot.
