Summary: | In a multi-cavity injection moulding nozzle adapted to be seated in a well in a cavity plate, and comprising (a) a melt channel having a cenbtral position branching out into several diagonal portions, (b) equally spaced outlets each connected to a diagonal portion and leading to a gate extending through the cavity plate to one of the mould cavities, and (c) an integral electric heating element having a spiral portion extending around the central portion of the melt channel, the heating element also includes a forward portion located adjacent the forward face of the nozzle and comprising a number of arms each extending radially midway between two adjacent outlets. |
