Summary:Annular flat rolling device with articulated sectors for a vehicle wheel with a pneumatic tyre having no air chamber and mounted on a rim of monobloc construction with wells or hollows in the rim, the device being housed in the interior of said tyre and at least partly closely fitting the shape of the rim, the external surface of said annular ring being at a distance from the internal surface of the tread of the tyre as long as the latter is in its normal operating condition. The ring (10), which is made of a reinforced thermoplastic resin-based composite material, is shaped such that its part intended to come into contact with the hollow of the rim (22) has a retaining lip to retain one bead (T2) of the tyre, whose other bead (T1) is under the action of an elastomeric chock on the diametric face of the ring (10) opposite that carrying the retaining lip. The articulated sectors are assembled by means of mechanical fastenings (35).
