Summary:The synthetic coupling element for cable conduits meeting at right angles has two open rectangular channels at its ends, covered by an L-shaped lid. This lid consists of a central plate with side walls that overlap the sidewalls of the channels. The inner and outer sidewalls for the lid have tongues that plug into slots at the edges of the central plate. A variant has rectangular sections that can be pushed out so that a third conduit can be incorporated. Manufacture is by die casting. There is a master mould with a hollow interior, into which different components can be inserted in order to produce elements of different shape one after another. ADVANTAGE - Universal coupling element using simple shapes which are easy and inexpensive to manufacture.
