Summary: | An electronic locking system is used to control activation of such as a radio and requires correct code entry. The system has a receiver (2), band selector (3), control unit (4), muting circuit (5), amplifier (6) and loudspeaker. Operation of the receiver circuit is dependent upon a control circuit (9) coupled to a voltage detector (8), code entry unit (11), memory (10), display (12) and connector (14). When the connection of the unit is made the detector (8) is activated. The receiver is only activated when the correct code is entered and successfully identified. ADVANTAGE - Simplified operation. Used for theft protection. |
