Summary:The trap has a tubular housing which is placed in the expected run of the animals. The gates (8) are set in each end to form a central trap area (7). The gates swing vertically about an axis alongside the tube. In the set position the gates are located in cut-outs under the tube.The bait is placed in the centre of the trap. The gates are operated by torsion springs released by trip plates inside the trap. The gates are mounted on a pivot axis along the outside of the tube.
