Analogue measurement value converter for real=time transformation into engineering unit - uses high value binary number bits to address stored coefficients, and lower value bits to perform correction using coefficients

The converter includes a memory for storing two coefficients. The high value bits of a binary number are used as an address to call up the two coefficients. The lower value bits of the binary number are multiplied by the first coefficient called up from the memory. The product is added to the second...

Summary:The converter includes a memory for storing two coefficients. The high value bits of a binary number are used as an address to call up the two coefficients. The lower value bits of the binary number are multiplied by the first coefficient called up from the memory. The product is added to the second coefficient obtained from memory. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for use in measuring physical parameters such as temp. and torque e.g. in deg.F, foot-pounds. Thermoelectric effects of intermediate wiring connections are simultaneously compensated for.
