Ion sensitive single rod measurement chain for ion concn. measurement - has reference system with bridge and inner electrolytes in chambers formed in hollow cylinder, and movable casing with seals
The measurement chain has a reference system with a bridge electrolyte (10) and an inner (7) electrolyte. The chambers for both electrolytes of the reference system and those for contacting the ion sensitive membrane (6) are formed in a hollow cylinder (1) by longitudinal separating walls. The hollo...

Summary: | The measurement chain has a reference system with a bridge electrolyte (10) and an inner (7) electrolyte. The chambers for both electrolytes of the reference system and those for contacting the ion sensitive membrane (6) are formed in a hollow cylinder (1) by longitudinal separating walls. The hollow cylinder walls of the two reference system chambers have bores (13,14) in the region of their upper ends at different heights. A casing with round seals can be moved over the bores. In an end position of the casing, the central seal separates the bores of the two chambers. USE/ADVANTAGE -For measuring concn. of ions. Allows electrolytes of reference system to be brought into contact with ambient air using simple handle and reliable separation of electrolytes during transportation. |
