Summary: | The invention relates to combinations of active substances for preventing or regulating the nitrification of ammonium nitrogen, arising especially from mineral and organic fertilisers, in arable grounds and substrates. It is the aim of the invention to develop active substance combinations which have an improved synergetic effect in preventing or regulating the nitrification of ammonium nitrogen and thus permit more effective use as against individual compounds or the prior art combinations. It has astonishingly been discovered that combinations of active substances consisting of at least one compound of the general formula (I) in which M, with n=1 or more in the case of co-ordination compounds, is various mono and polyvalent metal ions, although in the case of metal salts of substituted pyrazoles, may be negated with n=0; A, in the case of anion complexes and pyrazolates can represent the counter-ion, preferably ammonium, alkali and earth alkali and with anion complexes can also represent the 3-methyl pyrazolium cation, and in the case of metal salts may also be Fe and Al, and b=0 to 4; X may be the same or different and include various mono and polyvalent inorganic or organic anions with q=0 to 6; R1 is hydrogen, methyl or halogen; and z is hydrogen, methyl or halogen; and Z is hydrogen, CONH2, CNHNH2 or CSNH2; s has values of between 1 and 6; and dicyan diamide, lead to a substantial improvement in preventing the nitrification process. |
