Summary:The training machine consists of a moving belt (7) which operates at a speed controlled by the user of the machine. The control consists of a rotatable cone which is mounted with its axis horizontal. A first cable (2) is wound around the largest diameter of the cone and is subjected to a tensile force. A second cable (4) is wound around a spiral groove formed in the conical surface and has a weight (8) fastened to its free end. The resultant force on the cone causes it to rotate, together with a signal generator (6). ADVANTAGE - The machine is self-regulating.
