Summary: | The spring clamp, used to press an electronic power component (14) against the surface of the heat sink (10), is U-shaped with openings (23, 24) in each of its arms (17, 18) for insertion of a release tool, allowing the arms to be separated for fitting the spring clamp around the heat sink and the power component (14). Pref., both arms are symmetrical to one another, each having an outwards curved section (19, 20) below the opening for the release tool, with the free end (21, 22) of each arm curved outwards. ADVANTAGE - Ensures intimate contact between electronic power component in electronic control device and heat sink. |
