Summary:The cap is for a plastics bottle in particular, having a bottom portion secured to the bottle and containing a spout, and a sealing top movable in relation to the bottom one. The outlet from the spout (4) is formed by an opening (6) in the sidewall, its top (5) being shut. The top portion (2) has an opening (87) in its side towards the spout, and which is shut off by this top in the shut position. The top portion slides for a limited distance in the axial direction of the spout, and locks onto the bottom (3) in the shut position. ADVANTAGE - Easy to use and prevents inadvertent opening.
