Summary: | Solid body laser has solid body material optically pumped using laser diodes and the pump light, focussed longitudinally in the resonator mode. The novelty is that the resonator of the laser (10) comprises a laser crystal (11) having on one side a mirror and a nonlinear crystal (12). The resonator has a length of more than 1 mm and the crystals guarantee the formation of a resonator mode. ADVANTAGE - (I) has a microcrystalline laser, which guarantee a frequency doubling and frequency mixt. as well as determination and modulation of the base wavelength at efficient "single frequency operation". |
