Summary:In the case of a semi-active control method for a chassis, in particular for the damping of sprung wheel suspension systems on vehicles, with a piston displaceable in a cylinder and dividing this into two working chambers, cylinder and piston are each connected to a vehicle body and/or a wheel axle. At least one valve is assigned to the working chambers, which controls the flow of pressure medium into and out of the working chamber. The valve is controlled as a function of an absolute vertical velocity of the body and a zero relative velocity of the relative movement between axle or wheel and body and/or of a zero damping force and/or a zero differential pressure on the damper piston.
