Summary:A litter bin comprises a cylindrical body (1) with a bottom and with an elbow-shaped cover (2) having a front opening (3) for inserting paper, in which there is a small plate (4, 5), for putting out cigarettes, fastened to the bottom edge thereof. The cylindrical body (1) and the cover (2) are pivotally joined to respective ends of a vertical support (11) fastened in turn to a post, column or lamppost. The cover (2) includes a lock (6) which couples with the body (1). Inside the cover (2) there are pairs of ribs with perforated lugs in order to connect it to the vertical support (11) in different positions: with the mouth (3) towards the front, right or left. The support (11) also includes a retaining slot (16) for a tooth (15) emerging from the body (1) and the cover (2) includes some ribs that hook in the opening position some flexible teeth (26) of the vertical support (11).
