Summary:Disinfectant concentrates (I) contain (a) 10-60 wt% phenoxyethanol or a phenoxypropanol mixt. consisting of 2-phenoxypropan-1-ol and 1-phenoxypropan-2-ol in wt. ratio 1:4-1:20; (b) 0.1-50 wt% of a cationic cpd. chosen from guanidinium cpds., and/or quat. ammonium cpds.; (c) 3-25 wt% non-ionic surfactants; (d) 0.1-10 wt% of an organic N-contg. base with pKB value at least 4.75 to set the pH of (I) to 7.8-11; and (e) the rest water and conventional additives such as aids to solution, corrosion protectors, perfumes and dyestuffs.
