Summary: | The spinning unit of an open end spinning machine incorporates a separator in the hollow space of the spinning rotor. The separator separates single fibres from the yarn that is being produced. The fibres are guided to the glide wall of the spinning rotor through a feed duct, which ends in the spinning unit cover, opposite the separator wall. Between the separator wall and the wall with the feed duct opening, there is an eccentric current rectifier in the shape of a transverse segment. The rectifier is provided at the opening of the feed duct, which extends in the radial direction as far as a tapered space as far as the rotor glide wall. ADVANTAGE - The invention enables stabilisation of the front ends of the fibres coming from the fibrillation unit in the section from the supply duct opening as far as the spinning rotor glide wall. Vortex phenomena of the edge fibres is suppressed as they come out of the supply duct. |
