Summary: | In order to achieve a response characteristic with abrupt increase of the output force (so-called <>), or a <<rounded characteristic curve>> in a brake actuating unit, comprising a brake master cylinder and a brake booster connected thereto on the input side, in which unit the hydraulic pressure prevailing in a pressure chamber of the brake master cylinder is converted into a reaction force, the invention proposes that the reaction device (9) have a force transmitting element (36), which is arranged at an axial distance from the input force delivery element (14) and, on attainment of a predetermined pressure in the pressure chamber (44), allows a force component, directed against the force of a compression spring (35) supported on the boosting output element (15), to act on the input force delivery element (14). |
