Summary:Slide fastener with two slide fastener halves which in each case consist of a knitted carrying tape with warp thread stitch wales, which are connected by means of weft threads, and rows of teeth secured thereon, in particular continuous helical rows of teeth made of plastic monofilament. The carrying tapes consist of a two-phase warp knit fabric, i.e. of a warp knit fabric in which, in each stitch course, the stitches of every second warp thread stitch wale are offset by a part stitch in relation to the stitches of every first warp thread stitch wale.
