Summary: | A description is given of a speed-change gearbox for motor vehicles, in which the striking together of meshing gears due to rotational play is eliminated. For this purpose, a friction wheel (1b) is connected to a gear (1a) to form a driving part (1) and a friction wheel (6b) is connected to a gear (3a) to form a driven part (3). This gives a friction-wheel pair and a gear pair which have equal transmission ratios. When little or no torque is being transmitted, the friction-wheel pair eliminates the rotational play of the gear pair. |
