Summary:A housing 1 which consists of an upper housing part 6 and a lower housing part 7 accommodates an emergency-call transmitter 3 and an encoding device 5. A current source 4 for the current supply of the emergency-call transmitter and the encoding device is accommodated in the lower housing part, the emergency-call transmitter and the encoding device are both accommodated in the upper housing part. The housing is constructed similar to a watch housing and equipped with a strap for wearing it. A push button makes it possible to switch on the current source 4 which makes the emergency-call transmitter 3 ready for operation which transmits a corresponding emergency-call signal.
