Summary:Method of manufacturing cutting or stamping tools, in particular for rotation machines, in which the metal forming the cutting or stamping edge of a tool is fastened on a metal tool body by welding. In order to be able to manufacture the cutting or stamping edges with conventional methods using simple means, wire having the edge cross-section is used as edge-forming metal, which wire is welded to the tool body at least on one side of the wire cross-section.
