Summary: | A brake booster in a housing is proposed, with a servo piston slidably supported in the housing and a piston rod extending into the housing for the transmission of a brake force. At the same time, a pressure chamber is provided for receiving brake fluid, coming from an accumulator or reservoir after the opening of a valve designed as slide valve and delivered by way of a pump or the like, the pressure chamber in turn being connected by the slide valve to a return line to the reservoir. In order to improve the sealing between servo piston and slide valve and to prevent leakages, the piston rod engages in a cylinder bore of the servo piston and there encounters the slide valve, which is seated so that it can slide on a control pin. The slide valve is provided with bores in order to make the return line and a feed line for servo brake fluid. These bores have control edges which interact on the one hand with annular chambers or a ring channel formed into the cylinder bore and on the other with ring channels formed into the control pin. |
