Spray-dried emulsion polymer consisting of grains of powder made up of aggregated latex particles, containing latex particles of at least two different emulsion polymers A and B, characterised in that emulsion A is present in a larger amount than B and A is an emulsion polymer with a dynamic glass transition temperature of over 90 degrees C, B is an emulsion polymer with a dynamic glass transition temperature of below 105 degrees C and the dynamic glass transition temperature of B is at least 10 K below that of A.
