The invention relates to a process for purifying exhaust gases, containing sulphur and/or sulphur compounds, from desulphurisation plants by hydrogenation of the exhaust gases and subsequent removal of the sulphur compounds from the hydrogenated gas by a pressure-swing adsorption method.
