Summary:The refractory moulded articles of a density of less than 2.0 g/cm , produced from conventional refractory fine constituents, if appropriate refractory or fire-resistant mineral fibres and further conventional additives, contain 1 to 30% by weight of partially or fully pyrolysed organic fibres. The advantage of the refractory moulded articles according to the invention is that they are resistant especially to molten non-ferrous metals.
