Summary:A vibrator (6) for a scoop-bucket conveyor (2) has in a roller (8) altogether eight cylinders (13-20) which project beyond the outer contour of the roller (8) and which, when the roller (8) rotates, bear in succession against the scoop-bucket conveyor (2). Two cylinders (15, 19) are set back, so that, in the case of these, the scoop-bucket conveyor (2) oscillates further inwards than in the case of the other cylinders (13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20), with the result that the vibrating effect is improved.
