Summary:The procedure for control of a two-stroke IC engine with spark ignition having an exhaust port (20) includes the injection of a measured quantity of fuel directly into the combustion chamber. This ensures that, at low speeds and motor load, at least 80% of the measured quantity is distributed in the combustion chamber after the exhaust port is closed. At high speeds and loads, almost all the fuel is distributed. At low speeds and loads, the fuel injection starts at 5 or more degrees before ignition occurs, and up to 30 degrees after the closure of the exhaust port.
