Summary:In a jet-weaving machine with a main blowing nozzle inserting weft threads into sheds and with a plurality of relay nozzles which are arranged in succession in the direction of transport of the weft threads and which are formed from straight tubules which are closed at their free ends and are bevelled in the form of a knife edge and which are provided with at least one blowing orifice in the vicinity of the ends, provision is made for the blowing orifice to have the form of a slit which extends essentially transversely to the axis of the tube and the width of which is no larger than 0.8 mm and the side walls of which are profiled in such a way that the smallest flow cross-section is limited by edges, the thickness of which is no larger than 0.2 mm.
