Summary:In a pressure vessel consisting of a main body (2) prestressed with the aid of stressing elements (3, 4) and constructed, if required, from elements, and further consisting of a gas-tight liner (5) and a thermal insulation (8) arranged inside the container, the invention proposes that the gas-tight liner (5) be arranged between the inner surface of the main body (2) and the outer surface of a thermal insulation (8) of self-supporting and gas-tight design and that the liner (5) be connected (6, 7) from the rear to the main body (2) and that a vacuum (13, 14) be maintained between the thermal insulation and the gas-tight liner.
