Thickened cosmetic composition for setting the hairstyle
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition for setting the hairstyle in the form of a thickened homogeneous aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic preparation based on 0.05 to 4% by weight of a film-forming resin with an average molecular weight of 2000 to 200000 with a content of a) 0.1 to 4% by weight...

Summary: | The invention relates to a cosmetic composition for setting the hairstyle in the form of a thickened homogeneous aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic preparation based on 0.05 to 4% by weight of a film-forming resin with an average molecular weight of 2000 to 200000 with a content of a) 0.1 to 4% by weight of a high molecular weight nonionic polymer from the group of ethers of cellulose, chitin or chitosan which have an average molecular weight of at least 250000, and b) 0.05 to 2.5% by weight of a high molecular weight cationic polymer either from the group of cationic cellulose, guar, chitin or chitosan derivatives with an average molecular weight of at least 300000 or from the group of cationic acrylamide copolymers with an average molecular weight of at least 800000, where the ratio between the nonionic polymer (a) and the cationic polymer (b) in the mixture is chosen so that the viscosity of the composition with a mixture of (a) and (b) is greater than the viscosity of a composition with a content, which corresponds to the total amount of (a) and (b), of the polymer which has the higher viscosity of the two. |
