Summary:A description is given of a control slide valve suitable, in particular, for valves in motor-vehicle heating systems. The control slide valve has a slide valve plate which can be displaced rectilinearly transversely to the flow path and is pressed against the sealing face on the housing by means of at least two spring legs resting against the housing. The slide valve plate is connected to an actuating rod in the manner of a ball and socket joint, the ball head engaging in a holder which is arranged on the same side of the slide valve plate as the spring legs. In order to reduce production costs and simplify installation while maintaining reliable sealing and low actuating forces, it is proposed that the spring legs be composed of plastic and be of one-piece design with the slide valve plate.
