Summary:The device proposed compensates, in the event of large-signal/rotation speed variations, for a time-lag or phase-shift arising between an actual value and a specified average value, both of which are fed to a control unit for the injection of fuel into a cylinder. If 2 x z proportional-integral regulators (Pi-regulators) are used for adjusting the smooth running for a z number of cylinder, automatic synchronization is ensured. In the case of a cylinder number where z is less than 6, it is sufficient to install z proportional-integral regulators (Pi-regulators), whereby synchronization is automatically effected.
