Summary: | An insertion and centring device for pipes to be screwed to one another, in particular for use in the sinking of pipes, has two semi-cylindrical jaws which are connected to one another in an articulated manner, can be locked to one another and can be laid around the sleeve of one of the pipes to be connected to one another. On the inside, the jaws each have a sectional-ring-shaped cylindrical projection with a stop surface pointing downwards for bearing on the sleeve margin. Provided at the top end of the jaws is a funnel-shaped widened portion which adjoins the cylindrical projection. So that the entire device does not have to be replaced when such a device is worn, the jaws each have on the inside a lining which can be released from the jaws and on which the projection and the funnel-shaped widened portion are formed. This lining is preferably of multi-piece design and can be turned as a blank to the desired nominal size on the spot. |
