Summary:A slide valve with a vacuum servomotor is described which comprises a valve housing with a slide guided in a slide chamber and an actuating rod linked to the slide. The vacuum servomotor acting on the actuating rod consists of two housing parts which have a diaphragm clamped between their adjacent peripheral margins. The diaphragm defines a space which can be acted upon by the vacuum and is loaded by a restoring spring. To reduce the manufacturing costs and to simplify the assembly, it is proposed that one housing part of the vacuum servomotor and the valve housing be designed in one piece and that a sealing plate be arranged at the base of this housing part, which sealing plate covers the slide chamber and encloses the actuating rod in a sealing manner. Furthermore, a holder clamping the sealing plate against the base is provided which is fastened in the housing part by means of a bayonet catch and is secured by means of a locking device.
