Summary: | A control device for a ventilator arranged in a power amplifier is described which regulates, as a function of the temperature of heat-sensitive components, the air flow within the amplifier housing. It comprises a threshold circuit monitoring the temperature of the components, which is connected to a gate and which, below a predefined temperature limit for the components, emits a first control signal and, above the predefined temperature limit for the components, emits a second control signal to the gate. It further has a threshold circuit which monitors the control of the power amplifier, is likewise connected to the gate and, below a predefined control threshold, likewise emits a first control signal and, above the predefined control threshold, emits a second control signal to the gate. The ventilator to be controlled is switched off if the gate receives from both threshold circuits the respective first control signal, and is switched on as soon as the gate receives the second control signal from at least one of the two threshold circuits. |
