Summary: | The invention relates to an intermediate element which is used for connecting or bracing components of low strength to connecting elements having higher strength and which is constructed in terms of its dimensions and strength properties such that it allows the load capacity of the supporting capability of the higher strength connecting elements to be used fully, results in the elimination of stress-dependent flow processes, and prevents destruction of the component surface resulting from a rotational movement of the connecting elements caused by tightening. The use of the intermediate element makes it possible to reduce both the number of the connecting elements, or their cross-section, and to reduce the cross-sectional dimensions of the components to be connected. The essence of the invention is the allocation of the dimensions and of the strength properties of the intermediate element to the maximum possible clamping force of the connecting elements, to the strength properties of the components to be connected and to the deformation angle of the intermediate element, as a result of which the intended object is achieved with minimum dimensions of the intermediate element. |
