Summary:The equipment for overhead submerged-arc welding includes a container (1) for the welding flux (2), said container being provided with a welding head (12) with a nozzle (13) for a self-consuming electrode (14) and with means for supplying and pressing the welding flux (2) against the welded part (3) in the region of the nozzle (13), and a shaping device (17) in the region of the nozzle (13). The container (1) is coupled to a suspension so as to be able to rotate about the shaft (18) of the suspension. The shaping device (17) and a copying element (19) are also mounted on the same shaft (18). The equipment is also provided with individual means for rotating the container (1) about the shaft (18) of the suspension and with means for pressing the shaping device (17) together with the copying element (19) against the welded part (3).
