Summary: | The invention relates to a back shell of a supporting device for compressed-air breathing apparatus which is provided with one or two bottles of compressed air, whose highly compressed contents are made breathable via a pressure reducer and are metered via an automatic lung in dependence on breathing. The back shells previously constructed as support panels do not allow pressure-free fitting on the body and allow only unsatisfactory spacing of the centre of gravity of the apparatus from the line of gravity of the apparatus wearer. These disadvantages are solved according to the invention by a back shell of integral construction designed in a cross, whose vertical shell part is adapted to the spinal column and whose horizontal shell part is adapted to the lumbar region, additionally by means of attachment aids which are integrated in the back shell. |
