Summary: | The circuit senses movement of the rotor by a sliding contact (13) which touches inset conducting elements (12) in the rotor (1) to provide switch action as the rotor rotates. The pulsed signal generated by rotation is fed back into a measuring circuit (DF1-4, BF, C1). A microprocessor (CPU) controls the output of an oscillator section (CG2, AS, DF5) to drive the electrostructure elements (3a,3b) of the vibration wave motor at the optimum frequency. This value is stored in the CPU's memory storage. The sliding contact (13) may be replaced by a sensing device which operates on vibration amplitude rather than rotational speed. |
